Electro-hydraulic servo system selection guide:

 

1, servo oil pump recommended

The oil pump is selected according to the displacement, flow rate and maximum speed of the pump and motor required by the hydraulic system.

2, servo motor selection


Select the torque of the servo motor based on the pump displacement and system pressure.


(1) Calculate the maximum torque of the motor according to the hydraulic principle:


Tmax=0.0159×P×q(Nm)


P: maximum pressure (kgf/cm2), q: oil pump displacement (cc/r)


(2) Determine the rated torque of the motor:


According to engineering experience, the overload capacity of the motor is 1.3 to 1.8 times. When the working condition period is short and the frequency is higher, the overload capacity is 1.3 times. The rated torque of the motor is:


Tm=Tmax/1.3~1.8


(3) Calculation example:


Assuming the oil pump is 50cc/r and the maximum pressure is 175kgf/cm2, the rated torque of the motor is:


Tm=0.0159×50×175/1.8=77.3(Nm)


 


3, servo drive selection


(1) Determine the rated current of the servo drive:


Ie =Tm/Kt/η


Tm: rated motor torque (Nm), Kt: motor torque constant (Nm/A), η: motor efficiency (%)


(2) Servo drive holding current:


Ib=Ie×1.5


Ie: drive rated current (A)


(3) Calculation example:


Assume that the oil pump displacement is 50cc/r, the system pressure is 175kgf/cm2, Kt is 2.8, and the motor efficiency is 92%.


Tm=0.0159×50×175/1.8=77.3Nm


Ie=77.3/2.8/0.92=30A


Ib=30×1.5=45A


The EM500T035C can be selected with a rated current of 32A, a holding current of 45A and a maximum current of 58A.
